Back in 2020 when I was on Vlare, because I was bored and to test out Red Giant's VHS plugin I made a Vaporwave remix of Mirage by Italo Disco band Scotch. I never initially thought of it much but it suddenly became, at least for Vlare standards, pretty successful. Least enough to get folks talking about it and on the front page. I made a few extended versions of it, but they never really went anywhere before the site eventually closed. Years have passed since then, I'm of course on here now, and I have a better understanding of audio mixing (though admittedly I still am learning to get it right). I still had the original file, but I hated how the audio was a unlistenable mess. As such, I've taken the original audio from Mirage and recreated it as close to the original ScotchWave video as possible, but made it so it's actually listenable and accurate to what I originally was going for. Since I was doing that I decided to also take the original video, replaced it with the remixed one, and upscaled it a bit to look more clear. Needless to say, I think I did a decent job and I think for those few from Vlare who are on here and remember the original will like this new redone version. And to those who don't, you'll probably like this too.
